The China (Beijing) International Cultural and Creative Industry Expo (ICCIE) opened Monday in Chinese capital Beijing.

The 3-day event attracts four international organizations including the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), 86 delegations from 63 countries and regions, and 23 ones from across the country.

The Anhui delegation, comprised of 14 enterprises based in East China’s Anhui province and the Anhui Museum, displays more than 4,000 cultural and creative products ranging from Hui Ink and Xuan Paper to bamboo carvings, willow artwork and folding fans.

The Anhui Museum presents nearly 400 items featuring inheritance of cultural heritage as well as creation. Many of the exhibits such as ancient Huizhou buildings and Xin’an paintings have drawn swarms of visitors.

The province aims to show its latest developments in Hui culture and traditional craftsmanship via the ICCIE, and to make local culture widely recognized.
