From April 24th to 27th, Xi Jinping, the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China, the President of the People’s Republic of China, and the Chairman of China’s Central Military Commission, makes an inspection tour in Anhui.
Despite of his tight schedule, General Secretary Xi Jinping visits a number of villages, enterprises, universities, institutes of scientific research and cultural organizations in Lu’an, Chuzhou and Hefei within just three and a half days. He hopes to find out first-hand information about how Anhui carries out the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee and implements the national program for the Thirteenth Five-year Plan.
General Secretary Xi Jinping’s visit in Anhui will firm our confidence and determination to construct an innovation-based strong province featured in “three aspects”, namely, an economically strong, culturally vibrant and ecologically livable province.
He is accompanied by a high-level delegation which includes Member of the Political Bureau and Head of the Policy Research Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee (CPCCC) Wang Huning; and Member of the Political Bureau and Head of the General Office of the CPCCC Li Zhanshu. Back
