Sister province ties established between Anhui and Gangwon

A singing ceremony was held in Hefei for the establishment of the sister province ties between Anhui and Gangwon of ROK on September 14. Before the ceremony, Governor Li Jinbin met with Choi Moon-soon, governor of Gangwon and his delegation.

As the second largest province of ROK, Gangwon enjoys abundant natural resources and beautiful scenery. It has developed new industries such as biotechnology, medical device, new material, plasma and IT as the pillar industries. Anhui provincial government began friendly exchanges with that of Gangwon in 1996.

Li Jinbin and Choi Moon-soon signed the agreement together. According to the agreement, both sides would work together to strengthen and promote friendly exchanges among the two peoples and actively advance cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, agriculture, forestry, culture, education, sports, health, science and technology, personnel, travel and environmental protection.
