Huangshan Pine (Pinus taiwanensis Hayata)
The Huangshan Pine is taken as the provincial tree of Anhui to exhibit the toughness and hospitality of the people in Anhui. Huangshan pines grow in barren stones. They can resist cold weather and strong storms. They all have tall and straight trunks, and stretch their branches, looking like welcoming visitors from all over the world.
