The industrial and commercial registration of 404 projects signed at the World Manufacturing Convention (WMC) 2018 has been completed, accounting for 92.7 percent of the total, statistics from a meeting held on December 18 in Hefei, capital of East China’s Anhui province showed.
The meeting summed up what had been done at the WMC 2019 and unveiled the progress of the projects signed at the WMC 2018.
404 projects were registered in local administration for industry and commerce. Suzhou, Huainan, Lu’an, Chizhou and Huangshan cities saw all their projects registered.
339 projects, or 77.8 percent of the total, kicked off. Lu’an city, in particular, started all its projects.
108.7 billion yuan (US$15.5 billion) was injected into the projects, making up 26 percent of the contract value.
A total of 436 projects worth 447.1 billion yuan were signed at last year’s WMC, while 638 projects worth 735.1 billion yuan were signed this year.
Hefei is the permanent host of the convention.
