Located at the national relics area of Shouchun ancient town in Shouxian county, this museum is the only one in China named after Chu Culture (Chu is an ancient state of China and collapsed over 2000 years ago). Covering a building area over 15,510 square meters, it has a collection of more than 12,000 cultural relics representing the Chu culture as well as the history of Shouxian county. 
There are exhibition halls displaying Chu Culture in Anhui, history of civilization in Shouxian county and ancient Shouchun culture.
